You can book standard tickets for any show online, or over the phone.

Accessible seating, wheelchair spaces and carer tickets can only be booked through our Box Office, either in person or over the phone and not online.

All tickets are sold subject to our full Terms and Conditions. Our T&Cs include our no refund policy (unless a show is cancelled or rescheduled).

Box Office opening hours:

Phone lines: Monday to Friday 12pm to 4pm. For telephone bookings please call 01733 852 992.

In person: Please note that our Box Office is located at The Key Theatre and open to in-person visitors Wednesday to Friday, 12pm to 4pm.

On performance days at The New Theatre however, there will be Box Office staff in the foyer 60 minutes before performance start time and during the interval.

Booking protection:

You can purchase ticket protection to ensure a worry-free booking at New Theatre Peterborough. Traffic delays, illness, adverse weather conditions, strikes, accidents and more are covered and it’s easy for you to apply for a refund. At just £2 per ticket, you can add booking protection and feel safe knowing you can claim a refund. Just add to the basket when you check out!

Group and school bookings:

If you are booking on behalf of a group of friends, family or co-workers, please contact our Box Office team, as there may be special discounted prices available for you.  Our team will assist you to secure the best prices and the best seats for your group.

School bookings can be made via the Box Office. Some performances will have special Schools tickets available, which may be limited. Where Schools tickets are not available, group rates will apply thereafter.

We have general risk assessments of the theatre available and welcome site visits prior to your trip if required.

Please note that personal cheques or American Express are not accepted at the Box Office.

Access and assistance:

New Theatre offers complimentary tickets to Essential Carers for visitors with a disability subject to proof of eligibility. When booking your tickets please let us know how we can make your visit easier. We may ask you to let us know us know some further details to ensure that we’re able to give you the best assistance we can and put in to place the appropriate safety measure for evacuation procedures.

For those with dementia we offer support to ensure your visit is as welcoming as possible. We are happy to show you around the venue prior to a show to familiarise yourself with the venue. We have also identified some seating areas which may help with your visit.

We welcome guide and assistance dogs with open arms and a fresh bowl of water.

Only one concession is available per ticket, and appropriate identification may be required upon request.

Collecting tickets:

To ensure secure collection of tickets at the Box Office, you will be asked for the surname the tickets were booked under and the order ID. You may also be asked to confirm personal details of the person who booked the tickets. It is not necessary to present a booking confirmation when collecting, although this can help to make collection more efficient during busy periods.

If you would prefer, we can post your tickets to the address registered to the card used during your booking for an additional £2 per order.

Lost tickets:

If you have lost tickets we can reprint for you upon proof of purchase on the day of the performance only. If you have an online account with us, you can log in and download tickets from there.

Safety and security:

Your safety is our number one priority and on occasions, there may be some additional security measures in place when you visit us. We will do our very best to keep any inconvenience and disruption to a minimum but would ask for your patience and understanding.

If you notice anything suspicious when visiting, please do not hesitate to report your concerns to a member of staff, security or the police.

Theatre security will be carrying out bag searches before entry to the venue, so please allow plenty of time for this and make sure bags are to a reasonable size as a bag deemed too large might be refused entry.

Babes in arms:

At most shows, we welcome parents to carry young children into the theatre to watch a performance with them. For children under 18 months, they will not require a ticket. For over 18 months, please ensure that you purchase a ticket for all people attending the show.
