Everyone is welcome at the New Theatre!

At New Theatre we understand that sometimes booking the best seating for your needs may take some extra consideration, especially if it’s your first visit to us.

Entering the theatre:

Our Front of House areas are fully accessible from street level via a lift, this is located at the left side of the building via the glass doors. The lift accesses the Stalls Foyer where the Box Office and Stalls Bar are located. The lift also goes to the 2nd floor where the Circle Entrance and Circle Bar are located, along with the entrance to the Boizot Lounge.

Our Box Office counter is low level and the team at the Box Office will be on hand to assist you with any additional needs when you arrive.

If any of your requirements change from the time of booking please let us know and we’ll make sure that we’re adaptable for your needs. You can call the Box Office on 01733 852 992 or email the Box Office peterborough.tickets@selladoorvenues.com if you’d like to get in touch.

Booking tickets:

Accessible seating, wheelchair spaces and carer tickets can only be booked through our Box Office, either in person or over the phone and not online.

New Theatre offers complimentary tickets to Essential Carers for visitors with a disability. When booking your tickets please let us know how we can make your visit easier. We may ask you to let us know some further details to ensure that we’re able to give you the best assistance we can and put in place the appropriate safety measures for evacuation procedures.

There are 6 wheelchair accessible spaces, plus an additional 6 seats for essential companions if required. These spaces are located at the back of the stalls on a raised platform above the rest of the Stalls and provide a great view. The sound desk is also located in this area.

We welcome guide and assistance dogs with open arms and a fresh bowl of water. You can take your dog in to the auditorium with you or our Fron fo House team can look after them during the show for you.

For those with dementia we offer support to ensure your visit is as welcoming as possible. We are happy to show you around the venue prior to a show to familiarise yourself with the venue. We have also identified some seating areas which may help with your visit. Please contact us to discuss anything we can do to assist with your experience.
