After building his reputation as part of Squeeze, in 1987, Jools formed The Jools Holland Big Band which gradually metamorphosed into the current 19-piece Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra.

The rhythm and blues phenomenon returns, featuring Gilson Lavis and guest vocalists Ruby Turner, Louise Marshall and Sumudu Jayatilaka.
